We’ve changed a lot in twenty years. Our partners haven’t.
New robots, new integrations, new packaging formats — and the same locally owned team on Harbison Way since 2006. Twenty years in October 2026.
How we got here
Innovation is easy to buy. Twenty years of trust isn’t.
Any pharmacy can purchase a dispensing robot. Plenty added long-term care as a line of business. We started there and never added anything else.
- 2006
Founded in Columbia
Opened as a closed-door pharmacy serving intellectual and developmental disability providers in the South Carolina Midlands — a population retail pharmacy was not built to serve.
- 2010s
Statewide courier network
Built our own delivery infrastructure rather than contracting it out, so a facility three hours away gets the same service as one across town.
- 2010s
Automation
Brought in SynMed XF, RxSafe RapidPack and Eyecon, moving the repetitive precision work off pharmacists and onto machines built for it.
- 2020s
Integrated eMAR
Integrations with Therap, QuickMAR and MAS, so orders stop being rekeyed by hand.
- 2026
Twenty years
200+ active facilities across five care settings, still closed-door, still locally owned, still answering the phone at 2am.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Adam for 10 years as a consulting pharmacist on a psychiatric interdisciplinary team. His clinical input & analysis of the individual's complete medication regimen is invaluable. He frequently provides input regarding the possible impact of medication interactions, indications for medications & newly approved medications.”

Having Palmetto Rx Solutions embedded within the interdisciplinary team has transformed how I approach behavior support, as pharmacology can play an impactful role in understanding behavior. Collaborating in real-time with a Palmetto pharmacist doesn't just streamline our behavioral support process; it fundamentally changes outcomes for the individuals we serve.

Palmetto Rx Solutions has been an awesome company for our agency. I can truthfully say that if there is a problem, they go above and beyond to fix it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for a better pharmacy to work with.

In the community
Everything here has changed except who picks up.
The long-term care community in this state is small enough that people remember who showed up.
